Roanoke Island Festival Park--425th Anniversary of the Roanoke Voyages

Come enjoy the 425th anniversary of the Roanoke Voyages at the Roanoke Island Festival Park beginning July 13th! This is to commemorate the first landing of English ships in the New World on July 13. The festivities begin at 6 pm and this event is free. There will entertaining Elizabethan performers, a birthday cake, and Elizabethan activities which will cover the lawn area.

From 7/14-7/17 there will be special activities and performances going on....the Guilde of St. Andrew and Renaissance Faire performers will be on hand from Raleigh, NC. HAPPY JULY 4TH
